There are several exciting roles within a leading borough’s school catering service, which delivers Bronze Food for Life, award‑winning meals to 24 primary schools, 3 secondary schools and 2 alternative provision academies, serving over one million meals each year to pupils and staff.
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Cooks with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude!
15 hours per week
Your new role
- Promotion of the Catering Service and supporting the Catering Service to keep abreast of new products & legislation.
- Support the Head of Kitchen to organise and deliver a high standard of service and customer care.
- Food preparation, cooking, and service delivery.
- Clearing Up and Cleaning including set up & down of dining hall.
- Adhere to all food safety due diligence requirement.
- Support the Catering Service to increase uptake.
What you will need to succeed
- A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check at Enhanced Level with Children’s Barred List is required for this post.
